Access
The cottage is accessed from a gravel covered road.
From the road there is a gravel parking area (immediately in front of the cottage) for one car, and a small raised edging to a concrete path that leads to the front and back doors. Two steps take you into the hallway/dining room from the front door, which leads to the lounge on the left, the kitchen on the right and a flight of 12 stairs to the landing and bedrooms. The bath/shower room and w.c. are on the first floor. The stair treads are narrow and the stairs are steeper than those found in modern houses, so care is needed. There is a handrail on the left as you ascend the stairs.
At the rear of the cottage one low concrete step and a high threshold take you into the kitchen. There is one small step at the back of the room to access the washing machine and tumble drier. The kitchen leads to the dining room and remaining rooms. The path proceeds to a lawned garden, patio area and shed, there being 1 step to access the shed.
